Then Ty drove an entourage to Legoland!  The kids especially enjoyed the lego boat trip where they saw the Sydney Opera House, Taj Mahal, Eiffel Tower and Statue of Liberty -- wow!  All this in San Diego?  Yes, plus lego animals, lego cars and a lego "miniland" (San Francisco, New Orleans, New York).   And of course the exciting lego driving test for the kids - they all got their license!

Meanwhile, Mum, Gary and I enjoyed a visit to Balboa Park.  We started off with a delightful lunch in the Garden Cafe followed by a fascinating look around the Museum of Man where ancient mummies were on display.  We also went into the children's section and dressed up like an Egyptian (well, I did!).   And that was all we had time for; there's so much to see and do in Balboa Park but then it was getting on plus the fog decided to come right in!
